“A little snippet of Mrs. Funderburk and Ms. Lane CSS 1st grade class presenting their Science Projects. Each student picked a planet to research with their teacher, paraprofessional, and parents. The students worked for weeks researching information about their planet for classwork and homework. Every student presented their final projects to their classmates, Site Coaches, and Administration Team. All verbal students were able to read information about their planet and state facts they discovered. Ms. Funderburk asked the non-verbal students yes/no questions about their planet. Some students went above and beyond creating 2D and 3D planets. The students were encouraged to clap for each other at the end of their presentations. They were really excited and proud of their projects and the classroom treat at the end!”
