Ms. Colon is a Middle School Science Teacher at Westview PK-8. Her teaching experience is particularly challenging, but rewarding. She has been teaching for 10 years now. Outside of teaching science Ms. Colon likes to get to know her students and wants them to be successful as they become older. Something she said to me was, “It takes everyone to support each other parents’ staff (etc.) It will help everyone reach their goal not only in science but also in real life.” Some of Ms. Colon’s classroom rules are to enter quietly, have a seat to begin your assignment, remain seated, raise your hand, do not disrupt class, no cell phone use, and NO eating or chewing gum. Also, some of the things she enjoys besides teaching are that she likes to watch Marvel movies, she likes anime, and her favorite movie is E.L.F. Ms. Colon teaches science because she has been interested in science since she was 14 years old.
