At Westview PK-8 on Friday, December 20th, 2024, our school had a Polar Bear Run. After speaking with Cory D., an 8th grade student who went to the event he told me “I went there to see my friends, and the concessions were good as well.” This tells me he had fun and was enjoying the event. Another 8th grade student, Eden L., who also went to the event, said “I had fun and ate good food, and it wasn’t too cold.” From both these student reviews, I can tell they enjoyed the event. I also interviewed the polar bear himself, Mr. Enlow, our band teacher. He told me he had fun, that it was warm, especially because of the costume. Judging by the reactions of the interviewees, I would say this event was a blast!
