Congratulations to four of our Middle School BRONCOs for winning awards in the 2024-2025 DCPS Art Show! Awards of “Merit” will be displayed virtually and we will update this post with the link when it is available. Please come support those with an award of “Excellence” at the DCPS Middle School Art Exhibition on April 19, 2025 at the Main Library Downtown from 3:30-4:30pm.

About the Contributor

Ms. Perkowski, Teacher

Ms. Perkowski is a Teacher in Jacksonville, FL at Westview K-8 teaching art and “research” which is a combination of working on the school newspaper and the school yearbook to grades 6th-8th. Ms. Perkowski believes it’s important for students to have a voice and be able to express themselves through safe and effective communication methods such as art and writing. When she was in school she also took art, school newspaper, and yearbook classes and is happy to be able to teach these classes now. Outside of teaching, Ms. Perkowski enjoys spending time with her family, going to theme parks, and playing with her two dogs Hank (English Bulldog) and Willow (Miniature Dachshund).
