Amid the whirl wind of adolescents, middle school love captures the bittersweet charm of first crushes and the complexity of emotion that’s just beginning to surface. The “talking stage” is a pending relationship, where you are getting to know the person and beginning to act delusional. Being delusional is obsessing over someone or ignoring the red flags because you are in love. You tend to seek their attention and would be looking for them in the hallways, wanting to hug them. In my opinion, I think hugging your crush is a good way to show your affection. In addition to hugging, walking together is an effective way to show you care, most people start to facetime which leads up to going to sleep on the phone and talking to each other all night long. After a while people get attached and start talking about their crush all the time and wanting to see them all day. In my opinion, I think middle school relationships are a beautiful thing and I’m happy for anyone in a stable and loving relationship.
