I am lonely, but I’m not alone. I am in a class full of boys and it is exhausting, but fun. Do I wish I had homegirls in my class? Yes, but I love the boys in my class too. Noah, Elijah, Corey, and KJ are four people I am close with in my class and while we do bump heads sometimes, I absolutely love these kids. I get called “friendly” for being with them all day, but these are my faithful friends that always have my back. We play a lot but when it is time to get work done, we do and help each other with anything. Now I will admit it gets lonely not being able to have homegirls to talk to about girl stuff in class. The boys are very understanding at times, even when I give them attitude and ignore them. The last 2 years I have been here at Westview I have always had more girls in my class, so this is my first time having mostly boys that I am with all day. I do have homegirls that I can sit with for lunch though. No matter what I will forever choose them over anything or anyone and I genuinely love these kids even when they get on my nerves and stress me out. Thank you, Noah, Corey, Eijah, and KJ for being there for me and dealing with me especially in class when I don’t understand. They let me vent even about the smallest things even when I aggravate them. I love y’all forever and always.
